A native of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, Fundador ‘Mytor’ Gamboa Tipon II was a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Commerce, major in Management Accounting and a Corps d’ Elite Outstanding Student Awardee of University of St. La Salle.  He also finished Bachelor in Secondary Education (supplemental) at West Negros University and is a LET board passer, major in Mathematics. He is a member of USLS Maskara Theater Ensemble and National Commission for Culture and the Arts-Committee on Dramatic Arts, resident playwright of The Performance Laboratory, and a 2012 Iyas Creative Writing fellow.  He is an Iyas Literary Awards-Hiligaynon One Act Play winner who won Second Prize for “Palad” in 2013 and First Prize for “Emo Trip” in 2012.  He is a freelance commissioned writer, acting/declamation coach, stage actor and director. His other written and staged plays include “Ang Kalbaryo sang Krus,” “Por La Sangre,” “Rizal Is My President” (adaptation of Joshua So’s play based on Napoleon Almonte’s book of the same title), “Siete Pecados,” “Orakulo,” and “Café Specials.”

LALAW

Diin ang kasingkasing ko mapadulong
Kon tanan nga handuraw matahum?
Diin ang huna-huna ko malambiyong
Kon nagabalikbalik ini sa kasisidmon?
Anay nga masadya na kita sing takos
Ginbalo mo ang bug-os ko nga kabuhi.
Amat-amat ang dughan ko nagakaupos
Samtang ang kamingaw nagabayle.
Kabalo ko, nakita mo na ang iwag
Pagtabok mo wala luha nga katumbas
Nagalapaw pa gid akon pagkaluyag
Biskan hinulsol kag abi-abi nagaliw-as.
Malinong, garot, mamag-an, bug-at.
Lumos na ako sa lawod sang lang-at.

MAY WHITE LADY SA LIKOD BALAY

Sa huyop sang mabugnaw nga hangin,
Nagkalas mga dahon sa atop.
Nag-uwang ang hipuson nga ido,
Kulba ang pamatyag sang dughan ko.

Sa bintana ulo ko naglingi,
Nagdako mga mata sa bisyon.
Dalagan, nangarumbot sa katre,
Kay may nagalutaw nga white lady.

Namalandong, nobena naubos.
Naagahan lang, wala katulog.
Ginsugid kay Nanay ang nasiplat;
Harakhak lamang iya nga sabat.

Kag nagkadto sya sa likod balay,
Ginpunpon sotana nga hinalay.

SA IDALOM SANG ITOM NGA BULAN

Nagalabutyar ang mga landong kag mga espiritu
Kon sa diin ang kasubo nagalusad sa panglibak
Sapawan ang kasanag agud katawhan mangapkap
Sang Iya nga labutaw, mga sumpa sang misteryo.

Nagaubay mga dalan pakadto sa kinawala
Biskan paglaum bungol sa pagpanubos
Walay katubtuban magatakop sa sirom
Gikan sa dughan Niya nga nagahimud-os.

Samtang yara sa pista sang dulom nga bulan
Wala kabalyero ukon mananaog ang makalikaw
Bilihagon sila sang pilakon nga lumay
Sang ilahas nga halit sang Itom nga Musa.
